Bayso ~ A new Downtown Sarasota condo in the Quay Sarasota

I recently attended a ZOOM soft opening for Bayso – Kolter’s latest luxury condominium project. {Kolter recently finished the Mark in downtown Sarasota and of course the VUE}. Bayso will be Sarasota’s newest 18 story 149 luxury resident condominium tower. It will have contemporary clean lines , lots of glass and amenities one can expect from Kolter. The location is not direct waterfront but you will enjoy water views from the south west facing units on the higher floors. There are 11 plus floor plans so lots more details to discuss. “Mo knows Condos” …. Quay Sarasota – will be a 14-acre waterfront district located on the west side of Tamiami Trl in Downtown Sarasota at the end of Fruitville between the Ritz Carlton and the soon to be new Bay Sarasota The Quay will offer an eclectic blend of luxury residents, upscale retail, a boutique hotel, contemporary office space, a board walk, dock slips and green spaces in a scenic waterfront setting.

The new buildings will wrap around historical Belle Haven ~ an important Sarasota landmark. Designed by New York and Sarasota architect Dwight James Baum who was responsible for some of Sarasota’s signature buildings. It opened as the Broadway Apartments in 1926 and is now on the National Register of historic places. It is presently being totally restored.
