Thursday Feb 02 -8 p.m.-11 p.m. ~ Ringling Underground. Enjoy live music, and art in the Museum of Art Courtyard. This event features an eclectic mix of local and regional live music. Select galleries will be open until 11:00 p.m. John & Mable Ringling Museum of Art 5401 Bay Shore Rd.
Friday Feb. 03 -6 p.m. -9 p.m. is “First Friday” in Downtown Sarasota ~ galleries and shops stay open later, restaurants are hopping and there is music on Palm Ave. State St., Pineapple Ave & Main St. Also in Lakewood Ranch on Main St.
Friday Feb 03 -10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and Saturday Feb 04 10 a.m. -3 p.m. ~ Sarasota National Stamp Exhibition at the Sarasota Municipal Auditorium – 801 N. Tamiami Trl.
Saturday Feb 04 – 7 a.m. – 1 p.m. The Sarasota Farmers Market
Saturday Feb 04 and Sunday Feb 05 -10 a.m.-5 p.m.both days ~ Sarasota Masters Art Festival. This is Sarasota’s highest quality art festival. Location: Main St. And Gulfstream Ave.
Also on Saturday and Sunday Lido Beach will be having their 2nd annual Lido Beach Winter Fine Art Festival at 400 Ben Franklin Dr. Hours: Saturday 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m..
Sunday Feb. 5 ~ Sarasota Music Half Marathon with 20 bands on the route cheering you on. Time: 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. The 13.1 mile race will begin at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall then over the Ringling Bridge and back, past Selby Gardens, along Orange Ave. into the Cherokee Park neighborhood, back through Selby Gardens and finish back at Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall.
And of course Super bowl Sunday will be celebrated at all Sarasota sport bars !
