The Ritz-Carlton Members Golf Club was named one of golf Magazine’s “10 Best New Courses” of the year when it opened in 2007. And what’s not to like. Over 315 beautifully manicured acres with not a home in sight. This Tom Fazio design is superb. Anyone can join, but mainly it is used by the owners and guests of The Ritz-Carlton’s two downtown Sarasota properties: The Ritz-Carlton Tower Residences and The Ritz-Carlton Beach Residences on Lido Key.
But it’s not outside the front door of either…it is actually in Lakewood Ranch, just east of Lorraine Road off of University Park. Guests of The Ritz-Carlton are shuttled to the course…about a 20 minute drive. You need not own in The Ritz to play. In fact there are four Membership’s to choose from…Platinum, Gold, Sterling and a Summer Gold membership from May 1 to October 31.
As for ownership options, there are presently 20 condominiums available for sale in The Beach Residences. They range from $1.5 million up to $4.5 million and from just over 2000 square feet to over 4,200 square feet. They offer complete luxury, stunning Gulf of Mexico views, and all the amenities you can imagine…like room service from the main floor restaurant and a lavish beach club on a gorgeous stretch of Lido Key Beach.
As for the Tower Residences, 23 condominiums are actively for sale at this time. These range in price from a low of $935,000 to over $3.75 million. Size wise they are anywhere from 1767 feet to over 4,700 square feet. The Tower Residences are within walking distance of downtown Sarasota…an easy outing to restaurants, art galleries and the opera.
I would be happy to e-mail you options in either complex.
