the Bay Sarasota is going before the City Commission on Monday September 16.
Phase 1 will consist of 9-10 acres of the 53 total acres planned for the Bay Sarasota. It will be a place for all residence of Sarasota to enjoy the outdoors and the waterfront. There are no condos, apartments or homes this is pure public right-a-way space to our Bay that we all should embrace.
We are excited about the sunset boardwalk, cleaning up the coastal wetlands, a kayak launch, natural landscaping & concession area. Phase 1 is the start of something truly special. We will be turning a concrete jungle and unhealthy water front into a paradise that can only be great for our City’s future and generations to come.
