This week’s course…Stoneybrook. Just off I75 at the SR64 exit, this course meanders through the subdivision with mature wooded wetlands, preserves and ponds along the route. A terrific value at about $49 including cart. ( currently $10 more for an a.m. t-time, but the Sarasota Herald Tribune always seems to have a $10 off a.m. coupon so…basically $49 all the time if you want ) Shot a back nine 39, but my front was ragged. Surprisingly fast greens. As stated in an earlier blog, this course has recently changed hands and the new owners are promising numerous and continuous upgrades.
I recently sold a three bedroom/2 bath pool home built in the early 2000’s for only $200,000 . There always seem to be at least 8 or 9 listings of pool homes for sale for under $300,000.
