Rosedale Golf & Country Club is expanding. This gated, semi-private golf course community just off SR70 will see it’s first new homes section since its inception in 1994. Three builders ( Ashton Woods Homes, John Cannon Homes & M/I Homes ) will begin construction this year on 445 new homes on 237 acres. This will bring the Rosedale community from its present tally of 652 homes to over 1,100. Current home prices in the community range from $249,000 to $668,000.
Rosedale is an interesting 18 hole course designed by Ted McAnlis. There are no current plans to add any additional nine’s. Any new home owner is not currently obligated to join the club, but this new section will require at least a social membership. In addition to the golf and its 22,000 square foot clubhouse, the community boasts 5 Har-Tru tennis courts, Bocci courts, a fitness center and a heated outdoor Junior Olympic sized swimming pool.
