The links style Islandside borders the Gulf of Mexico while the tree-lined Harbourside course overlooks Sarasota Bay.
There is a very large proposal on the table by the Longboat Key Club regarding a renovation-and-expansion project on the Islandside course. Before jumping into a membership here, one would be well advised to receive the latest news on where these plans stand. If approved, the Islandside course could be out of operation for a year or more. Membership does, however, allow you access to the Longboat Key resorts beach club…very desirable. I will attempt to keep current on the latest plans and developments…stay tuned.
