“Survive the First Five” is the motto of this terrfic semi-private club in the community of Waterlefe. Challenging is an understatement. This Ted McAnlis design is a collection of signature holes that winds along the Manatee River. Just a beautiful and natural setting . Four t-boxes are available and can stretch the course to a monster at 6900 yards. I’m not a fan of the gimmicky “aqua range” …but that would be my only complaint.
The community itself offers both condominium and single family home living . The boating option in addition to the golf makes this a truly unique neighbourhood. There are presently a dozen condominiums for sale starting in the low $200’s to the mid $300’s. Thirty four single family homes are offered for sale starting in the low $200’s and can go as high as the $2 million range.
Play the course but be prepared to be humbled.
