ESPLANADE at Azario – The newest golf course community in Lakewood Ranch.
I have now played my fourth round at Esplanade at Azario Lakewood Ranch. Yes…that’s how much I like it! This new Taylor Morrison development will eventually have 1512 residential units…850 of those will be golf course lots, and 662 club lots. But right now, just model homes exist.
The golf course provides a scenic tour through rolling grounds. This highly anticipated resort lifestyle community will be a terrific place for golf enthusiasts to call home. I would call the course “resort style”. Not extremely demanding, unless one decides to attack from the Blue, Combo or Black tees. ( 6498, 6732 and 7007 yards respectively ). Having said that, some greens have some major undulations. Once this new course matures, and the speed of the greens increases, I may well have to adjust my “not so demanding” description!
