Ron Burks, owner of the site on School Ave. South of Ringling – across from Payne Park , spoke to the Alta Vista neighborhood residents last night about his new phase 1 plan for the project.
The 100 or so units will be in 8 separate buildings on the southern portion of the parcel. The heights of the buildings will be no higher than 4 stories. The renderings of the site showed architectural similarities to Citrus Square { Orange and 4th } and they were positively received by many of those in attendance.
Units will start at $ 249,000
City Commissioners could vote on the modified project in February
and if all goes well construction could start in the fall of 2009.
