Why not have it all at Waterlefe Golf and River Club. Located east of I75 and north of State Road 64, one can buy a waterfront property, with a boatlift in their own backyard, and a golf course view beyond. Developers had an already stunning natural surrounding, then added canals, lakes and stone bridges to make Waterlefe truly special. Not all private homes have lifts, but not to worry. There is a 59 slip marina and 14 additional docks on a canal, all with access to the Manatee River. But is the course any good ? Oh yes. Designed by famed links architect Ted McAnlis, it is both challenging, interesting and beautiful. I have played it many times, and it totally changes depending on the tee boxes used. Many holes wind around the picturesque Manatee River, so best to have your game under control.
